Announcements

Welcome to each of you as we worship together today.  There is a nursery available in Classroom 1, after the children’s message.  After church, there will be a time to visit together in the fellowship hall, followed by Sabbath School classes for all ages.  There is a traditional adult class which is working its way through the Bible; they meet in the sanctuary.  There is a second adult class that usually meets in the kitchen to discuss the sermon.  Grade 7 through college age meet in classroom 3.  Grades 4-5 meet in Classroom 4.  Preschool – Grade 3 in Classroom 1.

As a reminder, our services are live-streamed and are also recorded and available on-line.  If, during our Prayer Time, you would rather not share with the whole world but just the people in the building, please let us know and we will mute the audio for that portion of the service.

Tuesday – 5:45am Praying for the future of Marlboro SDB

Wednesday – 5:45pm - AWANA

Fall pumpkin paint party led by Anna on Oct. 22 from 2-4:30pm. This is an outreach event so invite a friend to join you! Cost is $10 per person. Let Bethany know if you are interested.

The Pastor Search Committee is compiling information about potential candidates.  There will be a meeting to discuss the candidate list tomorrow Sunday October 22 @ 7pm.  All are encouraged to attend.

Small group meets next week at Chris and Joanna's house on Oct. 28 from 6-8pm. We'll provide some snacks and we welcome you to bring a food item to share.

We know that we just said a couple weeks ago that the food pantry stock was in pretty good shape, but, the cupboard has been used heavily the last several weeks.  If you are able to contribute, please drop off non-perishable foods on the table in the fellowship hall.

Happy October Birthdays!

Please continue to pray for our youth and young adults.

Our next fellowship meal will be November 18 – Soup Luncheon.  Please see the sheet in the vestibule to sign up for a soup or a dessert.

Following the meal, there will be a Baby Shower for Bethany & RJ @ 1pm.  All are invited.  Check out their registry:  babylist.com/list/bethany-vosburgh.

It might be early, but, we are planning to collect for Christmas gift cards again this year.  The deadline for making contributions is December 16 with a special collection being taken on November 25.  Contributions may be made directly to the Treasurer with Christmas gifts listed on the memo of your check or given to Tom.
